Ryan's Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X - Import Tuner Top Pick
Ryan Gates' EVO X has been around the track more than a few times, so we know it can perform on the road course. The new Lancer Evolution chassis comes equipped with a turbocharged 4B11 motor renown for its responsiveness and ability to make great power with a few bolt-ons. Take the addition of Active Yaw Control to the proven all-wheel drive train and throw on a set of sticky tires, and traction isn't an issue.
Being more of a road race setup, the acceleration categories should be interesting given that drag launches aren't a part of our EVO's daily regimen. The biggest disadvantage the X has is in the price category. Being a 2008 model, we're going to be more than double the value of most cars in the Castrol SYNTEC Top Car Challenge.
